Pau Thang

Ming-gala-bah. This is a familiar greeting from Pau Thang’s home country of Burma (Myanmar). Pau would like to introduce himself to you and share his story of where he began and how he has progressed to where he is today. Before he became a US Citizen, Pau migrated from Burma to the United States with his family in 1997. His family worked with the Burmese families as they settled here with many of their needs. This is where he became very involved in helping that they could live in and become a part of their new English-speaking community of Fort Wayne. As he worked with people, he saw they were ready to move ahead from their rented apartments to homes that they could call their own. It was an exciting time to see people ready to make that next move.

It was scary for some Burmese that still spoke very little English. This is when he decided that if he obtained his Real Estate license, they could be represented by someone they could trust and understand. He did just that in 2013. Pau worked part time at first, while still working as an interpreter for EACS school district. The growing demand for housing within the community convinced him to become a full-time agent. After two years, he decided to move to Arizona and reconnect with dear friends of his. While there, he was able to study, work, and enjoy many new experiences before returning home to Fort Wayne in 2020. It was natural for him to return to being a realtor and serving the Burmese and English-speaking community. Pau joined eXp Realty and have loved his time there, working as a part of a team that focuses on helping clients optimize their lives. In his spare time you may find him out jogging with his sweet little dog (Delilah) who is like his daughter. Pau also enjoys singing in the Praise band at church, as well as cooking, reading, and listening to podcasts.
