She encouraged us to look at all options that were within our price range and in our preferred geographic areas. USAA, is the mortgage company that I used, which serves military veterans. From the moment we met Penny, I knew that we were in excellent hands. Penny Michael is the kind of realtor that will bend over backwards, and go out of her way to take care of you. We had an issue where the lender was giving us a hard time, and after they stated everything was finalized, and we were going to get the keys the next day, they started saying we needed to show additional sources of income, and that it would possibly have to go to underwriting again. They stated that the whole application could possibly need to go to underwriting again, and possibly postponing our closing date for another month. Needless to say this was extremely frustrating. However, Penny was somehow able to make this little issue go away. By talking to her supervisor, and her supervisor contacting USAA, we were still able to close the day we wanted to. We signed on with her while selling our home during the holidays and she kept us in the loop at all times (even calling us on Christmas Eve) to keep us posted which I was never expected but very impressive and heartfelt and not something you find in all realtors. We listed our home at the beginning of the month and closed by the end. She helped us in finding our new home by the end of the following month. There were some major repairs needed on the house that were successfully negotiated and made before purchase. Closing went smoothly and we always felt that Penny had our best interest at heart. We highly recommend her, she was wonderful!
