Perry Vanderhorst assisted us with the purchase of our NE DC home in September 2019. As first time homebuyers, we could not have chosen a better realtor to walk us through the process from early pre-approval to closing. He was excellent at educating us on the DC and surrounding housing market, homeowner hacks, how to select reputable contractors (even provided us contact with several local vendors) and so much about homeownership in general. His extensive knowledge and willingness to educate two young buyers really helped us manage expectations.

Perry was so flexible with our showings (and we had countless!), scheduling us to see any home we wanted, even last minute! He was always the first to arrive and was so patient with our endless questions. One home we were interested in came on the market in the middle of a typical work day and after our showing, he was kind enough to drive us back to the metro.

After searching for several months, we found our home! During our final walkthrough, Perry was so kind and gave us a very thoughtful, personalized gift to start our new chapter of homeownership!
