After growing up in the Bay Area and residing in North San Diego for last 14 years, Pete Andrews received his Bachelor degree in Economics and English in 1986 from Stanford University where he also played quarterback as a member of the football team. A licensed real estate broker since 1988, Pete has extensive knowledge of various aspects of the real estate industry, having spent the first eight years of his career as an Associate with a real estate investment banking firm specializing in real estate ownership through syndications, disposition, and refinancing, then as a CFO in a land predevelopment / development and mid-level residential construction company, and finally to a CFO and Acquisition Director for a small real estate venture specializing in real estate acquisitions and financing for income producing properties. In 1996, Pete created the framework for residential financing and sales as he formed and operated both a real estate and a national mortgage brokerage company that would later merge to form the current brokerage, Cypress Realty Group, Inc. While over the past 15 years, Pete has built the marketing and organizational framework to increase sales and adapt to the fluctuations of the marketplace and clientele, he remains committed to providing exceptional customer service. He takes great pride in listening to the thoughts and desires of each client and then providing detailed answers, explanations, spreadsheets, or whatever information is necessary to make that client feel comfortable....and excited...about the task at hand. This may be a direct product of his 28 year part-time career teaching and tutoring students ages 9 to adult in math, study skills, and school entrance exam preparation.
