Peter Harris

Born in Sacramento, Peter Harris went to public schools in San Rafael, then earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at California State University, Chico after studying engineering at UC Berkeley. Before becoming a realtor in 2003, he worked in the software industry, ultimately founding and running the software manufacturer Microweb. Here, he gained experience in capital budgeting, process engineering, project management, and negotiating with suppliers and lenders, serving local companies such as WordStar, Autodesk, Electronic Arts, and Berkeley Systems, as well as IBM and AOL.

At Berkshire, Peter focuses on residential property for owner occupancy or rental. With his focus on customer service, he offers his clients openness, conscientiousness, and his experience as a negotiator.

Besides his dedication to his professional life and his children and grandchildren, Peter is the lead guitar player for David Freiberg's Quicksilver Messenger Service. He started playing jazz in high school and was delighted to tour with the Jerry Garcia Band in the 1990’s. He looks forward to working with you to realize your real estate goals.
