If you are looking for a realtor in the east-bay, I would HIGHLY recommend Peter!

We were referred to Peter by one of our close friends who he had helped purchase a home in Danville. Right from our first conversation, we knew Peter was the agent we wanted to work with - he was extremely knowledgeable about the east bay locations we were looking at and was very thorough in asking questions to understand what kind of home we were looking for. One of Peter's best qualities is that he is not pushy - he focus is to get you in your dream home rather than just make a purchase/sale. Peter was extremely patient with us as we went through our journey of trying to find a home in this competitive market and always approachable/reachable for any questions. He kept an eye out for new listings that would meet our requirements and then guided us to make the bid that we were most comfortable with. We finally got our dream home and it was only possible due to Peter's expertise and amazing realtor skills in negotiating with the sellers.

Couldn't have asked for a better realtor than Peter when we sold our Walnut Creek condo last month.
The transaction was complicated as we had to do this remotely from the UK, and the property needed remodeling, having been a rental unit for the 3 years leading up to the sale.
Peter recommended some modest upgrades and repairs to improve the attractiveness of the property to buyers. This should have been painful, as covid has left ordinary building supplies in short supply and order books for contractors were filled up for months ahead.
Despite these issues, Peter called in some favors, found and managed the various contractors (install new flooring, haul away the old carpets, painting, plumbing repairsb replacements for worn or damaged kitchen cabinets; inspections and staging. With all jobs finished in under 2 weeks.
Though we were sceptical about his recommendation to stage the property - it wasn't cheap - he was confident it would bolster a higher asking price. But we bit the bullet and did as suggested.
The result was the property sold for $465K (Peter's higher asking price), $55K more than we had originally expected. This very welcome 13% increase, easily covered Peter's and the buyer's realtor commisions as well as the upgrade/repair costs, leaving us a small windfall.
Knowing the difficulties of paying contractor bills remotely, Peter went ahead and paid them out of his own pocket whilst I figured out how to transfer the the dollars - a real convenience for us.
In summary, we lucked out having Peter as our realtor. He was realistic, professional, responsive, imaginative, was hugely helpful. He understands perfectly the nuances of the E Bay housing market. My advice is 1) Whether buying or selling, have Peter act doe you.and 2) if Peter recommends repairs, upgrades, staging etc, to improve saleability, then just do them. You will not be disappointed.

Peter is the best! He was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking to purchase my first home. Peter was extremely easy to work with, reliable, and always had my best interest in mind. As a first time home buyer needed a lot of handholding, and Peter was there every step of the way. Of course buying a home is stressful, but not when you work with Peter! I also had pretty specific wants and a tighter budget but with Peter’s help I was able to get the house I wanted. Especially during this crazy market, I would never have been able to purchase my dream home if it hadn’t been for Peter. I would absolutely recommend Peter to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their home in the Bay Area, he’s a wonderful person and I can’t thank him enough for his help and professionalism.

Peter is an amazing agent! He quickly picked up on the preferences my wife and I had in the homes we were looking for and helped us navigate the complicated Bay Area market when it came to selecting the best neighborhood for our family.

Peter's super power shines when you do your first walk through of a home and he is able to pinpoint all the things that are easy to miss (good and bad) when you first see a home and helped in firming up our decisions. He helped us assess fairly accurate values of the homes we were interested in and made sure we put the most competitive offer possible so we could get our dream home.

His communication style is excellent and we were always in the loop (via text, email and calls) through the entire process of seeing the houses, navigating covid guidelines, making offers, following up with lenders during the escrow phase and even helped make sure our escrow company was able to close on time.

We highly recommend Peter for anybody in the real estate market in the Bay Area and look forward to working with him again in the future!

Peter has been a great realtor for us in our home search. He has always been informative and helping us narrow down the right neighborhood with the right schools and even restaurants and parks. We have a toddler and he always provided more details and context that is relevant for our young family. He was always very accommodating with our toddlers schedule as we could only see open houses around toddlers nap schedule

I am grateful for Peter's excellent services for my needs as a remote investor. I started to look for a house two years ago in San Ramon as my family prepared to move back to the States from Hong Kong, and we love San Ramon's good weather, master-planned neighborhoods, and the excellent schools. We eventually postponed the move and leased the house out. Our challenge to Peter was that we only visited San Ramon for a few days and had to do our house hunting remotely. We monitored available houses on the Internet and discussed with Peter via mostly e-mail. Peter even shot a video of a house we were interested in so we could have a virtual tour of the house. The house we eventually bought was a short sale and Peter very patiently took us through the complicated process. After the closing he also offered us extra help, diligently arranging for the necessary repairs and refurbishment and this was repeated in January of this year after the first tenant moved out. We are also happy with the two tenants he helped us to find and the rental returns. It has been my pleasure working with Peter, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a property in the area, especially those who want to invest remotely.
