About Phillip
Now picture a preachers’ son from Kentucky, growing up while serving in the military in Germany. Picture a magical, romantic city here where I met the woman of my dreams. Savannah, Georgia is the place where my marriage blossomed and where I spent my entire career in architecture & learning the real estate investing business.
Here’s the rest of the story:
I am from a small coal mining town with lots of churches and corn fields. On the advice of a wise Uncle, I decided to serve in the U.S. Army as a combat tanker. Later after arriving in Savannah, I served in the National Guard as a draftsman until I was promoted to Inspector. In the Army Reserves I inspected military facilities along the south east coast.
After completing my service in the military, I put my experience in wrestling to good use by founding the Coastal Wrestling Officials Association and coaching wrestling part-time. There really wasn’t much going on locally with that sport at the time, which is why I decided to contribute.
I can’t say enough good things about the Savannah College of Art and Design which has helped make Savannah what it is today. Both my wife and I have greatly benefited as well. She founded a top-notch interpreting services department at SCAD and I received my master’s degree in architecture.
Co-founding the Young Architects Forum, was truly a fun way to bring together students and professionals in my community where historic architecture is rich with time tested lessons.
Serving on The Historic Site and Monument Committee of Savannah and Chatham County was a challenging but rewarding time in my life that helped me realize the brilliance of General James Oglethorpe’s plan.
Serving on the Architectural Review Committee for The Landings Association was even more challenging but also equally rewarding. I learned the value of a magically designed community that continues to amaze and re-frame my thoughts as I drive over the Skidaway Narrows Bridge and arrive on the island each day.
Leading Q-Place Bible studies in my community is one way of exploring what I believe and why. While my wife would tell you I’m not much of a cook, I did learn how to make huge pots of spaghetti for People Helping People, a ministry for the homeless in Forsyth Park.

Phillip is a fellow US Army veteran that helped me sell my home within days. He knows the real estate business top to bottom and I highly recommend him to list your home. He went above and beyond to make the experience as easy as possible for me and the folks buying my house. I will use him again and again to buy and sell my homes. He has made it look so easy that now I'm going to get my license and work with him at eXp Realty.

Phillip is an outstanding agent. His communication, and energy is impeccable. Phillip went above and beyond to help us. I am also a Realtor in Ohio, and he took care of my/our clients with no questions asked. Our clients, and myself were only in Georgia for a weekend. We looked at so many homes, put in so many hours, put in one offer, but it got beat out. My/our clients were from Colorado, and me from Ohio that was the only time/weekend we had to look. Although as soon as we got home Philip called us about a house that just had gone on the market, and because he worked so diligently with us he knew their needs. Our clients put in an offer site unseen, Phillip had made such a great relationship with us all, that our clients & myself trusted him. Our clients never seen the house until 2 weeks after they actually closed on it. They love it, I love it, and all because he cares and understands people. I am looking forward to working with him again. Knowledge is power, and Phillip Williams is amazing. Thank you, Sir.
