Phillipa Bowers

Phillipa L. Bowers is a real estate and business transactions attorney with over 25 years experience representing, real estate developers, private businesses and government entities. “I fell in love with real estate as a young attorney after purchasing my first home and investment property in Algiers Point. It’s appealing not only because of its investment potential, but because being a realtor is a way to empower families with home ownership. She is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Washington DC, and Maryland. She began her legal career as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of New Orleans with a focus on municipal real estate transactions, ad valorem taxation, code enforcement, community development and public affairs, and affordable housing. She was also a Senior Managing Partner and shareholder of one of the largest national law firms solely dedicated to government receivable management for over 15 years before becoming a licensed real estate agent, a passion she finally pursued!
