First time home buyer, and Phyllis made the process so easy and stress-free! She was beyond helpful in every aspect of the process, from looking at houses to closing and beyond. She was super helpful and informative, always providing honest feedback on each house we looked at and things to look out for. She kept us up-to-date on houses in the price range and location we were interested in, and was willing to show us multiple houses in a day with short notice when needed. She helped us negotiate the price down, and made sure everything that was brought up on the inspection was taken care of. On closing day, she even had someone come mow the lawn for us so it would be all ready for me on move in day. Working with Phyllis to build a new home was easy and straightforward. She brought a wealth of knowledge and the wisdom that can only be grown over a career in the field of real estate. Considering the long timeline of new construction, Phyllis was attentive and mindful of key events. COVID did not phase her and she rapidly instituted proper health and safety procedures in order to suppress any risk to her many clients, which was extremely appreciated.
In terms of professional performance, I would rate Phyllis a 10. There was no lack of candor about situations when they rose, no scarcity of sensitivity when it came time to maneuver with the builder, and a surplus of warm and welcoming personality that smoothed over any hiccups along the way. She possesses substantial collaboration acumen and was key in locking in the foundation for the new home contract in a desirable location. Furthermore, Phyllis taught us new home buyers the do’s and dont’s of the first time home buying process and adeptly educated us on proper and effective independent quality control. Closing was straightforward due to an abundance of professional contacts from lenders to private home inspectors.
I seriously doubt there are any better advocates that a first time or new construction buyer could choose over Phyllis. I’ve already recommended her to relatives interested in Madison County and plan to casually name drop into conversations with coworkers and friends.
