Rachel Saunders Plakon, MBA is President and Broker of Saunders Plakon Commercial Real Estate. She has worked a variety of real estate projects, including office, industrial and residential. She specializes in land, and has frequently worked with eminent domain projects.
She was formerly Land Specialist with NAI Realvest, a top brokerage in Central Florida, where she represented land owners, including the Orlando-Sanford International Airport in their land development industrial projects. Her past experience also includes the role of Vice Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board in Winter Garden.
Saunders is a successful real estate entrepreneur, and has been a partner and owner in real estate investment companies since 2004. She started and owns Southeast Ingenuity Investments, Inc., where she is active in growing a portfolio of rental properties.
Additionally, she has developed land in Nashville, and also sold hundreds of acres to Nestle Waters North America in North Florida for aquifer use with water bottling companies. She was mentored by the late founder of NAI Realvest, Chairman George Livingston, who has been called, “Godfather of Central Florida Real Estate.”
Rachel is also currently a Commissioner with the Florida Commission on the Status of Women, appointed by Speaker of the House Richard Corcoran.
