About Rachel

For nearly twenty years, Rachel has been a respected leader in the DC real estate scene. During the emotionally charged experience of buying or selling real estate in urban and suburban Metro DC (a sophisticated, expensive, competitive, fast moving, and ever-changing market), where variables in the local market are numerous and the end result is unknown, clients have year after year put Rachel in the top echelon of real estate pros across the city. She is recognized by Washington City Paper, Bethesda Magazine, and Washingtonian Magazine as being a top agent in the area. Rachel arrived in DC in 2004 after earning her bachelor’s in business administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami (FL), and in 2006 she finished an MBA degree at the Kogod School of Business at American University. There, she developed her love and passion for real estate and specialized in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Never complacent, Rachel has her Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, DC Associate Broker license, active sales licenses in VA, MD, and DC, ESRES (Energy Smart Real Estate Specialist) & SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). In her first five years, Rachel was named “Rookie of the Year” for all agents in DC and Montgomery County by GCAAR (Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors). Rachel’s sales production rank her among the top of realtors® nationwide, and she has been featured in numerous publications including being on the cover for REALTOR® magazine’s “30 under 30” as one of the 2009 pros chosen across the US. She is a go-to resource for editors covering real estate trends around the US. In 2010, she jumped into learning the brokerage side of the business and helped launch KWCP Bethesda’s office where she ran her sales team, served as advisor, and a minority owner until 2019. Valentino was also included on Washington Life magazine’s “250 Most Influential People under 40” for the Washington, D.C., area as those that “stand out as leaders, risk-takers, givers, connectors and changemakers.” Rachel has personally owned, operated, and renovated numerous DC area homes, embodies a great deal of knowledge in construction and renovations, is known for expert counsel in real estate investment, landlord/tenant law, and has a consistent reputation for her team advising and executing clients’ needs as if it’s her own purchase or sale. She formerly lived in Montgomery County for 7 years where her children still attend school, has her office in NoVA, and is the working and dedicated mom of two children residing in the District of Columbia.
