About Rafael

Rafael was the Broker and founder of Quantum Real Estate Group and has over 23 years of full time Real Estate and REO experience. Throughout his career, Rafael has done extensive work in residential sales representing both buyers and sellers including REO (Real Estate Owned) properties. Rafael has represented many national financial institutions including Fannie Mae and a countless number of outsourcing companies. He has served two terms on the Advisory Board of an International Bank and has won several top broker awards including the Top Broker Award for the Western U.S. from HSBC Bank and the second most productive broker in the United States by NAHREP. Rafael and his team are responsible for over 4,000 closed real estate transactions.

Prior to his full-time passion for real estate, Rafael served his country in the United States Marine Corps with a background in intelligence and was honorably discharged at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. He is also a thirteen veteran of law enforcement with eight of those years with the Los Angeles Police Department. He has served his community as a member of the Neighborhood Council. Philanthropy is another passion for Rafael with commitments past and present with Wounded Warrior Battalion Camp Pendleton, St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research, Operation Smile, Boys and Girls Club and multiple veterans causes to include a membership in the American Legion and Marine Corps League. His Real Estate Motto “Passion, Tenacity, Integrity” and he absolutely lives by this motto. Mr. Dagnesses is married to Natalie Dagnesses has three sons, two of which are Computer Science majors at the University of Alabama and one of his sons is a U.S. Army ROTC Cadet. The family DNA of service is no doubt evident in his family tree.

Rafael has been the go-to broker for many institutions, he has guided and assisted agents, asset managers and even in-house councils on the complexities of overly aggressive municipalities, thus saving their clients hundreds and thousands of dollars and proactively preventing major liabilities and headaches for their clients.
