We were looking for a home in Torrance for last couple of years. A few friends recommended us to try Rahul and Surbhi and so glad we listened and discussed our home needs with them!

They have a wonderful knack of making first time buyers feel comfortable. They tried to understand our needs and explained a lot about their prior experiences. They provided feedback stating all positives and negatives of the home and guided us on what important issues to take care of.
In current real estate market its really difficult to get one's offer accepted, and we were blown away with Rahul's commitment and passion to make sure our offer gets accepted. He stayed in continuous touch with us and seller agent and made sure things happen.

Once our offer got selected, they were always there to help us be it with inspection, lender selection, escrow questions etc.
They also are experts at referring handyman, electrician and guide with whatever small/big work is needed in the home.

We highly recommend them. I regret not reaching out sooner but glad I finally did and was able to nail down our dream home!

We started looking for a house with a lot of uncertainties on what we exactly wanted and how we would go about. But Rahul and Surbhi provided clarity on all our questions and the questions we did not ask.

We had been looking to buy our first home for two years before we started working with Surbhi and Rahul. Based on our income level, other real estate professionals were encouraging us to look at foreclosures/short sales in a neighboring city that is much less desirable!! Our journey with Surbhi started approximately 7 months ago where we met her at one of the open houses for which she was the listing agent .After talking to her for the first time gave us good vibes and later we met the couple at there office and the way they explained the process and the assurance they gave helped us to analyze our requirements and also gave us a very good understanding of there business model.
Every house we went to see Surbhi was there with us explaining the pros and cons of each house and as the area we were looking were mostly old houses and needed some TLC's she also provided us ideas on how we can make the old house to fit our requirements and also gave us some estimates, that helped us a lot to look at homes in our desired area.
In less than 3 months after we met them we are proud owners of our first home.

During these tough times, they worked with us tirelessly and patiently and were very helpful. We were not first time home buyers, so had strong opinions and we were amazed at their approach. They were very objective in analyzing the pros and cons of each house we saw and never for a moment was pushy. As with most first time home buyers there were a lot of unknowns for us - all the way from renting vs owning to knowing what we could afford and how to get the best bang for our buck… and we are very picky! We realized it was going to be quite hard getting the right home without paying a hefty price. Most decent homes around here end up above asking with multiple offers.

We didn’t know this when we started looking, but soon it dawned on us that it’s very important to work with the right agent. We have known a few agents and tried working with them but its hard to find an agent that would understand your needs and desires, financial situation, your picky nature.. :) … and relentlessly keep showing you homes for more than a year. Not to mention work with you to make the right offers that YOU want to give and not what will click (which most of the time is above asking in this area). Few other key aspects - price negotiation, hand holding through out the process, including inspections, identify/advice on major repairs, re-negotiate with seller to get appropriate credits, work with the bank and escrow on unreasonable charges and most importantly hold that seller firm when delays happen in closing.

We knew it was hard but we did get the right agent.. thanks to the Bhagat group!! With vast experience and a kind nature, Rahul and Surbhi Bhagat, got us through the otherwise intimidating process with ease. We enjoyed their vast experience, negotiation skills and not to mention the network of resources they brought to the table.

We are now in our new home, still unpacking but happy that we made the right choices.

i worked with 3 agents before i met Raul accidentally. Though I spoke to him for 5 min, I was impressed with how quickly he listened to my requirements, he told me to do few things before being buying a house successfully, i just simply did that and called him to meet again for a casual meeting, when I went to his office, I was impressed with his clear though on ehat I should be buying, explained me the whole buying process and showed me 3 houses, I liked 2 of them, wrote offer on both of them and boom.. I got accepted, he has good clarity on contracts , superb hold on negotiation skills.. I was totally impressed, I hold my hand all the through. As first time buyers we could not be more lucky by having Rahul represent us.
Rahul belongs to a rare kind of people who truly enjoys his job. He takes it very seriously and is very conscientious about the quality of work he does. Instead of short term monetary gains, he values long term relationships, which coincidentally is much better for business, but takes much more effort.
He continued to work even during his family emergency while being on another side of a planet and on what felt like a 24 hour a days schedule.
Also I am a kind of person that needs to understand what is happening and why, and Rahul patiently took time to explain the process multiple times and held my hand till the very end (and even after).
By negotiating with lenders, contractors and the seller, and by looking out for us and checking other parties' mistakes, he saved us on the order of $10k of cash (in addition to a lower house price), and left us with nice furniture and appliances.
While I've heard during the process other realtors complain about slow market and lack of business, Rahul is energetic, optimistic and is busy with multiple clients, and I understand why.

We were shopping only for couple months with Rahul and he got us a very good deal. Rahul Bhagat is a one stop shop for your real estate needs! We got in touch with him in order to purchase our primary home. He never forces you to buy a house, is always available whenever you need to go see any house, any number of times & gives genuine advise. I have never seen that with any other real estate agent. No matter how they pressurize you-subtly or aggressively but agents always try to make you buy something fast so they can get it(you) over with. Rahul is not like that....he genuinely tells you both pros & cons of buying a particular property & lets you make your decision. He is super prompt, always in touch with you updating you on the status of your deal. He has very good connections directly with banks that help you give the best mortgage rates. He goes to extra length in helping you find home inspection companies, home warranty companies(if needed) and/or absolutely anything else you might need. He is extremely detail oriented in making the contract in your favor as much as possible & will negotiate & try to get you the best deal with all related parties(listing agent, home inspection, escrow etc) on your behalf even without your asking for it. This house purchase was my 3rd real estate transaction in total & 1st with Rahul & this was the 1st time I had no worry about absolutely anything....he did it all for us!
