Randy Tappen

Randy first fell in love with the real estate world as an investor. While he found this experience to be both personally rewarding and lucrative, he had a strong desire to share his knowledge and expertise with others. Randy had earlier worked in service and property investment, so becoming a licensed real estate agent seemed like a natural step for him.
Randy is the Principal Broker of VA Home Realty. Providing leadership and guidance to agents as they too fulfill their dream of helping families with their homes.
Prior to real estate, Randy served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps. Over a period of eight years, he was a small unit leader, completed multiple trips overseas and one year of service on Navy ships. Randy later relocated to the Hampton Roads area, because it’s both a transient and military based location. He takes pleasure in working with military families, as he can relate to their experiences and understands their housing needs. Additionally, Randy is a full-time agent for both first-time home buyers and experienced investors.
