About Raquel

I had a successful career in sales and management and in 1999, decided to see what all the fuss was about in real estate. I was hooked from the start!

My husband and I live in Dundee, just a block away from where I grew up. We are raising 2 wonderful children that are now young adults. When my kids were @ Dundee Elementary I was involved in all my kids did. From PTO, to Girl Scout leader, party planner and general volunteer. I know what Dundee meant to me growing up and I want to make sure that Dundee is just as special for my children and those around me. I have a passion for architecture, old and new. Don't be surprised if I find the crown molding, built-in buffet or the original kitchen cabinets the most exciting thing about a house. The craftsmanship they put into homes back then was truly an art form. I am partial to mid-century modern design and love the idea of restoration. Taking the time to save what we have and making it new again is how strong foundations are built. That's the kind of dedication you can expect from me and The Ahlvers Group.
