Raye Mayhorn, “The Real Estate Lady”, started her career in 1979, part-time while stationed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona as an army air traffic controller. She perfected her selling and marketing skills and became a top associate for her first company.
In 1983 she moved to Texas and obtained her broker’s license, then a degree in real state and finally in 1988, with a partner, they opened AMERICAN DREAM REALTORS.
By 1993 Raye was on the move again and working for an International brokerage in Killeen. She dedicated her time and energy to promote her profession and her community by serving on various boards, committees, and civic organizations.
In February 1998 she purchased the REALTY EXECUTIVES franchise for Killeen and relocated to its new home that July. In May 2006 she purchased the Temple franchise from Realty Executives International.
Finally in March 2012, Raye purchased the remaining territories for Killeen, Temple, Belton, Copperas Cove, and Harker Heights, Lampasas, Salado and the surrounding communities.
Raye estimates that she’s participated in over a ½ a billion dollars in sales since her career began in November 1979.
Raye’s newest venture involves an opportunity to help the great citizens of Williamson County, here we go!
