During the housing crisis of 2008, when many agents were leaving the industry, LA native Richard Aguinaga instead heard his calling. He rolled up his sleeves, obtained his real estate license, and jumped headfirst into the chaos, helping divert as many people as he could away from the jaws of foreclosure. Today, his burgeoning clientbase remembers his positivity, expertise, and determination in a particularly dark moment… and how Richard used his skills to help them to a place of power. With his obsession for architecture and passion for quality construction, real estate was always in his future.
Richard was born in Sylmar, though today he calls Northridge home, evidencing a comprehensive understanding of the Greater LA area’s diverse housing markets. He handily obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Real Estate from the Cal State University of Northridge. Richard’s time spent in the construction industry not only gave him a deep respect for the gravity of property transactions, but also highlighted his creativity when it comes to remodeling projects.
When not uniting clients with their real estate goals, Richard is an avid golfer and snowboarder. He also enjoys the spectator side when it comes to all LA sports. Richard also takes time to exercise his mind, harboring a particular fascination with macro economics.
