Richard Borden

Richard Borden (Dick), is a graduate of UCONN, with MBA and MPA degrees from the Universities of Hartford and New Haven. He and his wife, an interior decorator, live in Manchester, and have three children and six grandchildren. Dick is active in his church, enjoys woodworking, and often plays golf at the Tallwood Country Club in Hebron.
Borden is very active with the Rotary Club (the world’s largest and oldest service organization), and is a past District Governor and past president of the Manchester Rotary Club. Also, he is a member of the Glastonbury and Manchester Chambers of Commerce, and a recipient of the Chester Bowles Community Service Award. For 28 years, Dick served as the town manager for 4 municipalities, including Glastonbury and Vernon.

Dick is a member of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors and for almost 15 years, Dick has been the Broker/Owner of Borden Realty.
