About Rick

Born and raised in Taiwan, Rick Cheng is deeply connected to his Chinese roots. Rick is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. Having closed many deals with Chinese buyers and investors, Rick understands the expectations and intricacies in dealing with Chinese investors.

Upon immigrating to the United States in the 80s, Rick’s family started a modest import business, which quickly grew to become a successful international operation. With over 25 years’ experience of running his own business as well as managing his family’s multiple warehouses, Rick has tremendous management as well as negotiation skills. In addition to managing his family’s business, Rick also runs the HOA of Baldwin Business Center, of which his business belongs. After successfully negotiating commercial land deals and a warehouse sale, Rick caught the real estate bug and has not looked back since. Within the first year of Rick’s entry into Coldwell Banker, he was awarded the International GCI Award; only the top agents are honored with this award. In the second year, Rick was honored with the prestigious International Diamond Society Award. Rick’s keen business acumen and vast understanding of commercial, income, and luxury real estate makes him a valuable partner to any investor or property owner.
