Rick Cunningham

Rick Cunningham is one of the top leading real estate professionals in the United States. He is the Owner and Operating Principal of multiple Keller Williams franchises located throughout California and Hawaii. Combined, Rick's offices rank at the top of the Keller Williams Realty International system. The 1,700 plus agents spread across multiple Keller Williams franchises sold over $6.4 Billion in residential and commercial real estate in 2024.

Rick has been characterized as a "purposeful entrepreneur" and market trend innovator by prominent real estate media outlets. Rick continuously strives to improve upon the client service models through his transformative verticals and one-stop-shop philosophies, unique to the industry. His positive disruption to the industry has led to the creation of client-based service streamlining, saving valuable client time and resources while providing a white-glove service in every transaction.

Rick started his real estate career 25 years ago, as one of the founding core agents of DBL Beverly Hills, which was later acquired by Sotheby's International. While at DBL, Rick was honored for his outstanding production and achievement three years in a row and was recognized as one of DBL Beverly Hill's Top 10 Agents.

In 2004, Rick was recruited by Keller Williams Realty, as the first core agent/investor of the Hollywood Hills office. It was there that he founded The Cunningham Group, a real estate team within Keller Williams. Soon after, Rick expanded his enterprise and now has ownership and investments in multiple Keller Williams franchises.

With his streamlined client-systems’ efficiency philosophy, Rick engineered a one-stop-shop system by partnering in related core service ventures, including strategic partnerships and joint affiliations with mortgage, settlement services/escrow, attorney services, and real estate staffing. Today, Resolution Escrow, San Vicente Escrow, Movement Mortgage, Greystone Insurance Agency, NHD GO, and California Concierge, have all become a tremendous benefit for all of Rick's team members and clients.

Rick's passion for the Arts and his legacy of philanthropic efforts and civic engagement has helped local schools expand their music, visual, and performing art programs, adding needed funds and supplies to help children who would otherwise be left out. Utilizing his education in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, Rick spearheaded efforts to improve local infrastructure and enhancing community roadways with beautifully landscaped medians.

Originally from New York, Rick graduated with a five-year degree in Landscape Architecture, with an emphasis in Urban Planning from Syracuse University. Rick went on to pursue an MBA at the University of Georgia before locating to Southern California.
