Rick Wright was a very helpful real estate agent, right from the beginning! He was willing to come and see my husband's home to give us advice, even on a Sunday! He was fun and cordial and easy going. We knew right away we would go with him. He was always wonderful about communicating with us. We received many emails and automatically was put on a list whereby we received homes to search. He was willing to phone us when needed, and connected us with people who might help in the home buying procedures. Rick was low key and willing to help. He tried hard not to stress us out and he was honest where needed. He worked to let us know the amounts we should be spending based on the information we gave him. He was willing to take us to see homes almost every weekend that we needed him. A couple times he even showed us homes more than once. We were very satisfied with his willingness to work with us and always felt comfortable in asking him questions. My wife and I listed our house with Rick Wright in June of 2013. Within three weeks and after several showings later, our house was SOLD!! The only problem was that we did not have a house to move into because we never could of imagined that our house would of sold so quickly. Rick made us his top priority searching for our future home and set apart a whole day after the 4th of July and we toured 11 houses that day. The last house we visited was the home we fell in love with. However, we wanted to go through it a couple more times just to make sure and without asking why, Rick would make sure to set up the appointment for another walk through. My wife and I never felt pressured by Rick to make an offer but we finally decided to submit one and within a couple days we were in contract with our dream home. Rick kept us in the loop during negotiations of both the sale of our previous home and the purchase of our new home and he would answer any question we had within that day by either phone or email. Rick was our 3rd realtor in a really bad housing market about 3 to 4 years ago. After the second realtor didn't sell our home I began to really interview prospective realtors. I thought I had interviewed prior but this time had to be the charm. Recommendations from friends was only the beginning to the process. Rick impressed me with our first conversation because he was able to explain why our house had not sold and what he would do differently. Everything he said made total sense with my experience in business. I was still very cautious when Rick and I first met. Our house had been on the market for over 2 years. We needed to move and it wasn't happening! The advice he gave was not only spot on but his suggestions were stuff we were willing to do. It was very reasonable. It was the advice we were longing for with the first two realtors. The process was extremely professional and he continued to impress me with his level of expertise every day! When it came to negotiations, he was amazing! He knew what to do and how to see if the buyers were serious or not. He helped us find a home as well. We actually found a house, closed and moved in two weeks! While that is rare, he really helped us to make things happen so we wouldn't have to move twice with transitional housing. I met Rick when I attended an open house for his listing in Hilliard. At that time I was house hunting without my own realtor. He shared with me a brochure on why it is important to have a real estate professional. No high pressure just information. My experience with Rick began in 20006 when i listed my home for sale after moving to Texas. The housing market in Ohio was slow and I was not able to sell. There was a couple who wanted to buy the house but had trouble securing a loan. They moved in with the intentions of buying. Years went by and they could not secure a loan but Rick continued to advise me and renewed rental agreements with the potential buyer. In May of this year, Rick advised me to put the house back on the market if the buyers could not commit to purchasing the home. During the months between May and October many issues arose with the house. I had to repair the stucco, paint the house inside and out, improve the landscaping, get a new sump pump, etc.etc.. Rick facilitated all the repairs for the home (remember, I live inTexas). He purchased items for me and sent me the bill later. I could go on and on. I know of no other realtor who would have spent 7 years selling a home. I have had a serious load lifted off my shoulders with the sale of the house thanks to Rick.
