Selling a home can be stressful — especially when it's a family home filled with decades of memories. That’s why I’m so thankful we had Robert Medinger as our real estate agent when it came time to sell our dad’s house in Oak Lawn.

From start to finish, Rob was exceptional. He understood the emotional weight of the situation, showing empathy, patience, and professionalism throughout the entire process. This wasn’t just a transaction for us — it was the closing of a very personal chapter — and Rob respected that at every step.

Highly recommend Rob to be your buying/selling real estate agent. I sold a single family home in Merrillville, Indiana and Rob went above and beyond to help get the property sold. I live in California and wasn't able to do a lot of the things the home needed (coordinating cleaning, fixes, keys, etc), and Rob was all over it to help.
Additionally, he is very communicative, always took my phone call or texts.

It has been two months since we closed on the sale of our first home in Matteson, yet I still RAVE about how efficient, professional, and considerate Rob Medinger was in handling the sale. I had put off making the move for a year because I was so hesitant and nervous about such a daunting process, but Rob was like a godsend. He walked me through every single aspect from Day One, never once making me feel like the novice I was. He explained everything thoroughly and honestly, always offering lots of options and never being judgmental about my situation. He was quick to respond to any question or message I had. Everything happened on time from the staging of the house, to the pictures, to the day it went on the market. During our trip to Chicago for Thanksgiving my husband and I decided to look at the real estate market in Oak Lawn. We starting to talk with Robert Medinger as our contact from Movito website. I was so very happy they gave us Rob to go through all the items we wanted in a home. I felt we hit the jack pot! We reviewed many available properties and took all of them to Rob. He REALLY KNOWS real estate. He was able to tell us draw backs on some of the listing that we really needed to know. We are 71 ys old and wanted to move from Virginia to Chicago to be closer to family. He helped us through conversation chose the area Oak Lawn. It was perfect! Close to shopping restaurants and Medical Services! Very near a hospital even. While we were searching he called us on a property that I just described that had all the items we felt we must have. By this time we had returned to our home in VA and just talking to Rob on the phone. He set up a showing time via our cell phones and walked us through the virtual showing. He was so good in explaining the condition of the home and things we should know. I was so impressed with his honesty we wanted to put a contract on the home within a few hours of talking. Location was so close to my sisters and brothers. I felt so right about this area and home. Rob gave us steps to get all the info over to the table to get. Mutually agreeable contract. He also recommended a Lawyer that could work with us on buying a home without us there. He also was amazing putting the whole package together working over the computer and Fed X and before we knew it we had purchased our "dream home" that we will live the rest of our days in. I can't tell you how grateful we were to Rob helping us all the way through the sale. It is our dream come true. Rob now has referred us to another salesman in VA who is going to help us sell our current home. We can tell by our conversation with this gentleman he had the same dedication to people as Rob does. If you are looking for a real estate agent that is upstanding, professional, knowledgeable and helpful Rob is your guy. He walked us through each step of the selling process, including how to best stage our home. We also appreciated that he was licensed in both Illinois and Indiana because we were moving out of Illinois and into Indiana so his being licensed in both states alleviated so much on our end. I’ve been working with Rob for nearly four year’s. Long story short, my house that I’m in now was being purchased by our town for an expansion. It took four year’s for the purchase! Rob alway’s kept in contact with me and helped me so much during the long four year wait. He spent numerous hour’s preparing analysis’ on my home, several times without getting paid. Most realtors would have given up on me by then. Not Rob! He was dedicated to helping me get the best price for my home. Which I did, thanks to him. Finally, once that was completed, we found a house in one day! One day! He worked really hard on helping me decide how to approach the listing without losing it. Rob was a calming presence during the sale of my house, which was beset with some difficulties beyond any of our control. I can be rather high strung by nature, so Rob had to deal with that on top of everything else, and yet it all turned out wonderfully in the end. When he first met with me, he came armed with all of the information to get me up to speed quickly. Once we worked out the timeline of how everything would proceed, it all just fell into place. My husband I hired Robert Medinger to sell an income property we had in Rogers Park. After a terrible experience trying to sell it last year we were looking for an agent that could accomplish our goals quickly.

Being out of town with little family available to assist Rob stepped in multiple times to meet contractors, painters etc so we could get our property ready to list.

Once our home hit the market we had two offers in the first twenty-four hours and sold for almost $3K above asking.

I would strongly encourage anyone looking for an agent in Chicago to interview Rob before hiring a Realtor!

My wife and I worked with Rob to purchase our first home and couldn't have been happier with the experience. He was very patient, friendly, and helped guide us through the process taking time to explain each step and offer suggestions along the way. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision which was reassuring. As out-of-state home buyers, it was important to us that our agent was flexible and would work around our family's schedules and Rob did just that often showing houses 2-3 times each while also video conferencing us in so we could be included.
