Robyn Schmitt’s New Orleans roots go back several generations. A graduate of Bonnabel High School, she had extensive sales experience by the time she received her high school diploma. Working in New Orleans-area retail, selling women’s clothing and accessories, Robyn moved into management and began troubleshooting with other stores in the chain, improving sales, staffing and store design. While attending Delgado Community College, she applied her sales expertise to the millwork industry, managing sales, scheduling and payroll, pricing and ordering, as well as working with contractors and consumers. She developed her skills in reading blueprints to allow her to price and place orders.
With her husband, Victor, she expanded into real estate investment across the Gulf South and into Costa Rica, overseeing more than 20 new builds, buying and selling investment properties, and managing rental properties.
After spending 15 years running the national booking department at Victor's International Model & Talent Management – booking models and actors on commercials, fashion shows, movies, print ads, promotional bookings and conventions throughout the United States – Robyn earned her real estate license and has continued to work with contractors, investors, buyers and sellers in residential real estate and commercial properties. She continues to work with builders to draft floor plans for new construction and home renovations, along with handling interior design on projects, before listing the finished homes on the market for sale.
