Roger is excellent. My partner and I kicked off a search in September with Roger. He guided us to a great new home. At the outset, my partner and I didn’t necessarily share the same vision for where we wanted to live and what type of house we wanted to buy. Roger was our consigliere. He counseled us in what we might want in a house, and what we could compromise on. At tours, he was candid about whether he thought the house was over priced, underpriced or fairly priced. And, when it came time to make an offer, he counseled us on strategy. We could not be more grateful for his guidance and time, and found him personable and kind at his core. Five stars. Roger recently helped me sell a condo, and shortly after rent an apartment. In both cases, he was simply terrific. For the sale, Roger helped me understand what I needed to do to prepare the house, and patiently and expertly counseled me to through the negotiations which led to sale price that was far higher than I expected. It was such a smooth process thanks to Roger’s experience and careful approach. When I started looking to rent an apartment, I wasn’t sure where to look or how to choose an apartment. Roger was thoughtful, patient and insightful, and gently helped me through the process — he helped me to ask the right questions that led me to the perfect place — I’m so happy where I ended up. We've known Roger since 2017. In the intervening years, he's assisted our two adult daughters purchase their first homes and, just recently, helped my husband and me find a one-in-a million two family in the neighborhood of our choice. He also helped us to find really great tenants for the first floor apartment of our home. He's attentive, good humored, patient, very competent, and just an all around nice guy.

Roger Rodriquez was the consummate professional. He helped us obtain our Norwell home while we were in Arizona and could not travel due to Covid-19. We had a Zoom meeting to view our prospective home and he spent much time preparing helpful documents and answering questions about the property. He gave a very honest appraisal of the property and we never felt that he was just trying to make a sale. He listens to what the buyer wants and follows through. It was a pleasure to work with Roger!

I would love to share my experience on working with the team, Carol and Andrew who helped me to sell my condo. After I moved to another state for two years, I decided to sell my condo in the beginning of this year, 2020. Dealing with the Pandemic and living out of state made things extremely challenging, but I was confident to work with them. If they made it happen with these conditions, you can count on them. I could not not recommend Andy Brilliant and Carol Palmer any more enthusiastically!

I met them when I was just checking out an open house on my street (a property they sold not too long after).

I immediately hit it off with them and told them I was interested in purchasing an investment property in the future.

We met and I decided to work with them as my exclusive buyers agent. A few months later we successfully purchased a great 3 unit residential unit in Hyde Square which also had a commercial property attached and was 100 percent fully leased it has been immediate cash flow positive and the tenants are great. I plan to utilize them for renting as well if any of the units come open.

What I liked the most about Andy and Carol is they knew from the outset that I was not in a rush, meaning it may take a long time to find the right property. They never pressured me to accelerate my time table. In fact, given that I was a little uneducated on investment property, they cautioned me against other properties that I was initial interest even though it would be in their financial interest to close on a place sooner rather then later. They were always 100 percent focused on finding a property which would fit everything that would be a perfect fit for my short-term and long term goals.

They are very nice, easy going people. They also are really good post-transaction. Some agents just disappear after the closing, but they have actively remained in touch and interested in helping me and I look forward to work with them in the future. I now consider them friends.

Carol and Andy Brilliant helped me and my wife bought our first home. They were tremendously helpful and nice in the entire process, after which our relationship with the Brilliants has turned into a lifelong friendship.

We started searching in the Jamaica Plain area and ended up buying a condo in Brookline, which we absolutely love.

Buying a condo could be very time consuming, but it can also be extremely efficient with Carol and Andy. We knew nothing at the beginning and they patiently went over the details with us over and over again. They work as a great team together. Carol is very careful, organized and responsive: she has literally everything documented and clearly labeled. Andy, on the other hand, is highly experienced and gives very professional advice for our negotiation during the purchase. I honestly cannot imagine a single agent could do both to their level at the same time. Working with them was the best time in my 2018. I feel absolutely relaxed and safe while working with Carol & Andy, and we still keep in touch after closing. Like I said, although knowing Carol & Andy for just about an year, I strongly believe our friendship will last forever, and I will definitely come to them every single time I need an agent. We purchased our house under asking and our condo sold over asking after the first open house weekend. The entire process went very smoothly. His trip to the City's Permit Department was just one of many extra things he did for us. Our home was marketed well, and our request to keep the advertising minimal was honored. Of the realtors in the JP area they had the best places to show us, and we are now renting through them. They were instrumental in helping us negotiate the lease with the landlords. One thing they could improve on with their non-exclusive listings is to have more information ready at hand about the property when showing it.
