I have a been a full time realtor serving Colorado Springs and surrounding areas since August 2004. I specialize in residential sales (new construction and existing homes).
I am not a Colorado Springs native, but I feel like it. We were stationed here from 1982-1986 when my husband was the commander of the 4th ID band at Fort Carson. After that we spent 3 years in Germany and 3 years at Fort Monmouth, NJ, before retiring to the Springs in 1992. There was never a doubt where we would end our military career. The hiking, biking, changing climate, wonderful people, and career opportunities brought us back.
I am originally from DeLamere, North Dakota - graduating class of 24 students! It was wonderful growing up on a farm. I learned many things - to include respect, hard work, no whining, you can be boring but not bored, and the importance of family/friends and faith. During March of my senior year in high school an Army recruiter came to my school and was telling me about the Army band program. That was all I needed to hear. A week later I was singing "I'm in the Army Now"! It opened many doors and took me many places, to include Camp Zama, Japan, where I met my husband. I spend my free time doing things I love to do: spending time with my husband, kids, and grandkids; playing the piano; cooking; hiking/biking; gardening with my not-so-green thumb. Life is good.
