As a Santa Barbara native, I bring a deep love and understanding of this unique coastal community to my work in real estate. My journey has always been rooted in service, beginning in education, where I’ve spent over a decade supporting families as an elementary school teacher. Now, I bring that same heart and commitment to helping clients navigate one of life’s most important transitions: finding home.
I hold a B.A. in Political Economy from UC Berkeley and an M.A. in Urban Education and Policy from Loyola Marymount University, where I balanced graduate studies with a full-time teaching career. That experience honed my ability to listen deeply, advocate with care, and show up with integrity. These are the values I carry into every client relationship.
Together with my husband, I co-lead The Castro Group at Compass. Our approach is grounded in community and connection. We believe real estate is more than transactions — it’s about people. Whether I’m guiding first-time buyers, supporting growing families, or dropping off groceries when a client is under the weather, my priority is always the relationship, not the sale.
When I'm not working, you'll find me reading, hiking, practicing yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, or exploring the Santa Barbara foothills with our dog, Luna.
