Ruth Christenson

As a mom to three amazing children and wife to an even more amazing husband, one of the many joys in these roles has been to help them find and pursue their gifts and talents. Along the way, Ruth realized that she kept trying to encourage them to fulfill her own entrepreneurial bent. She helped her husband start a home school science tutoring business and a SCUBA certification and trip business, and the kids had quite the "poop scoop" operation going. When none of them wanted to expand their endeavors any further, they were unanimous in agreeing that it was time Ruth should pursue work in an industry that she is passionate about, and they would support her.

That is where real estate came in. Ruth remembers being wowed at the thought of owning her own place someday when her husband Erik and she hunted for their first apartment in 1999 and before that her childhood was filled with touring homes with her dad who works in the construction industry. In 2000 she and Erik moved to the Twin Cities and in 2012, they moved to St. Michael, MN where they live today. Their home is where they nurture their bodies, minds, spirits, and their most important relationships. It is their launching pad from which they go out to pursue dreams, goals, learning, and ministry. It is their safe place to land at the end of a long day and their shelter in times of tumult in the world.
