Ruth Whitney-Bowe

At the heart of everything is the ability to imagine a dream and make it come true. Ruth Whitney Bowe has been doing that for the past 30 years. A love of music sparked her vision for a new nightclub in Minneapolis; she opened The Fine Line Music Cafe in 1987 and it remains a crown jewel of Twin Cities nightlife. After performing at the Fine Line, Prince contacted Ruth to collaborate on the creation of Glam Slam nightclub, his musical playground in downtown Minneapolis for many years.

Since 1997 Ruth has fine-tuned her business acumen and unique expertise in negotiations and building construction as a residential real estate professional at Coldwell Banker Burnet. She has continued her legacy of leadership, serving as head of the Minneapolis Lakes Office Distinctive Homes group from 2013 to 2020; a networking association for upper bracket real estate professionals. Ruth continues to help others make their dreams come true...because at the end of the day the heart of everything is in your home.
