About Ryan

Ryan is an Estate Agent with Craft & Bauer Real Estate Co. and a member of the Gates Team. In addition to having an incredible set of pipes (you may recognize Ryan from the television show American Idol), Ryan is also an outstanding real estate professional having honed his experience in the industry over the past several years. A second generation Realtor, Ryan believes the first transaction is the beginning of a lifelong friendship and business partnership with his clients. It brings Ryan so much joy to hear his new clients say, “man, it’s like you’re a part of the family now!.”

One of Ryan’s favorite parts of the real estate process is showing homes to a new buyer. “It’s so fun to walk through and get a taste of a buyer’s style and what they really need. And getting to see that look on their face when they find ‘the one’.” He says there is no better feeling than at the end of the process when he gets to hand his clients their new keys. Ryan is so glad to have earned the trust and confidence of so many of his friends who have hired him to assist with buy and selling their homes.

Born and raised in the Central Valley, this gives him an edge knowing the neighborhoods and being able to tap into his extensive network to find off-market properties. He continues to educate himself on many different locations throughout California. Ryan has a special appreciation for mid-century modern homes and the design influence of Charles and Ray Eames. One of Ryan’s favorite homes to sell was a beautiful 1950’s home in Sacramento which retained the original character but also had a modern twist with great pieces of furniture.

Ryan’s family has a non-profit organization in South America called River Intl. They help spread love and bring water filtration systems to the villages where an average child’s life expectancy is no more than 5 as a result of poor water quality. He has been fortunate to have been able to travel to the Amazon, Rio De Janeiro and São Paulo to help deliver clean water systems and be a part of the change.

Ryan loves to travel and visit his friends who have moved across the world. He enjoys nothing more than to visit local coffee shops on his travels to try all of the different styles of drinks they offer.
