2 years ago, we met with Sam to discuss what was needed to be in place in order to purchase one day. Sam took the time to explain the entire home buying process as well as provided a lot of scenarios, and most importantly asked us what it was that we were looking for in a home. Our visit ended with us feeling like it was a goal that we could most definitely accomplish if we did our part. 2 years later we returned and this time we had the pleasure of also working with Maria. They treated us as if we were family and helped us feel comfortable throughout. They ensured that anything within their control was as simple as possible. - Sam was very responsive throughout the process, even making time to speak on the phone with us on a Sunday evening when we had a question
- Our search criteria changed during our home hunt and he was accommodating and patient with us
- We had some scheduling conflicts and a tight window for showings, which he also accommodated with a smile

It's hard to describe just how great of an experience we had with Sam. Over the course of 2 years, Sam had the patience and wisdom to help us find our perfect first home. When we first started our home search, we met with some agents that were just interested in touring homes quickly. We took some more time to do our research to find someone who would understand our needs and not treat us just like a business transactions because as a person who works in the mortgage industry, I have come to understand that this is one of the biggest and most important purchases a family can make. After seeing valuable information and content Sam curates on his Social Media platforms, we met with Sam and everything fell into place. He is the kindest and most honest Realtor and human around that treats you as if you were family. My husband and I are first time home buyers in this insane market and was recommended to Sam through a mutual friend. Reaching out to him and his team was easily the best financial decision we've ever made. We toured 5 houses but none of them really met the criteria (for my husband) of being "the one". Sam was so patient with us and never rushed us into a decision. I promised that I wouldn't bother him during his vacation over the holiday but then of course a house came up during that time and I messaged him constantly about what we should do. I worked with Sam to buy a condo in Falls Church, Virginia and I cannot say enough nice things about him and his team. He is also the company he keeps. I was referred to him by a family friend and from the beginning, he was so comforting and accepting. He knew I was new to the area and engaged with me before I even moved, sharing some tips. We found two places that hit the mark within a few weeks and he even helped me to decide between the two. I can’t tell you how personable, knowledgeable, and supportive he is. We both laid on the floor staring at the popcorn ceiling (since removed) in my current property chatting about all of the pros and cons between each property. The support with financial referrals and discussions beforehand was incredible. It didn’t end with purchase either. He is a lifelong friend. He checks in on me, throws events for all past and present clients, and has always been my go-to guy for recommendations on contractors and post-purchase concerns (property managers, handymen, etc). I will never purchase in the DMV without using Sam and I constantly force my friends in the area to follow his social media for tips, tricks, and maybe a transition to client when they’re ready. Working with Sam has been a pleasure! Sam has been a family friend for many years now and since day one he has always been ready to help. I moved to NY last year and my husband and I started working with an agent here in NY. As new home buyers, we know nothing about the process and when asking questions we would get short answers or not the best advice in our interest. Every time I had a question, I started asking Sam for advice and right away he would get back to me explaining the background of things and even defining terms for me that I was not familiar with. When we were almost ready to close there was an issue with my interest rate, that to fix it would have cost us a few thousand dollars, but as soon as I told Sam he called me and told me what to do. After following his advice not only did we save money but we also were able to get the interest rate we wanted. Sam is super down to earth, professional and really takes care of his people.

So there is nervous people and then there’s me 😂 as we all know this market is insane and if it wasn’t for Sam and Mía by my side I wouldn’t have gotten through with the process. My friend recommended Sam to me, and as soon as I did the first consultation with him, there was literally no looking back. He gave me a sense of calmness, trust, confidence in the process & honestly any positive word that you can think of, please insert here !! He understood my vision, added the highlight I was missing, and ran with it. Even though I did my research, I still had some questions and Sam/Mía did not hesitate to reply/call back and made sure I understood. They made sure to check on me when we lost a place to a cash offer & honestly even though I understood (who wouldn’t take cash 😩), it really appreciated those calls - made the whole difference. The team is simply the definition of Dedication & Excellence !

But wait there’s more, after getting the house, they still didn’t leave my side. I needed to get some work done and Sam didn’t hesitate to refer me to his network of contractors. If you are looking for a team of people who will have your back, look no further. It’s no secret the home buying process is stressful, but doing it for the first time is extremely intimidating and stressful. Sam and his team do everything right - they listen, answer all your questions, guide you, and make you feel like you are the biggest priority in the world. Sam is a family man, and he let us know that in our first conversation, but for some reason it never felt like we were any less of a priority than his family. I’m not sure how he juggles so many competing priorities!

We found Sam through Instagram. One look at his page and you’ll be floored with the level of knowledge he has in the industry. My husband and I were looking for someone who was knowledgable and skilled but also relatable and would make the process enjoyable. It also helps that Sam’s network runs wide and deep. He had a solution/referral for EVERYTHING!

We bought our first home in the middle of the pandemic - the market was crazy competitive and Sam had our best interest at heart the whole time. I joke with Sam about having trust issues, and trusting a realtor was difficult for me because this is a huge purchase! But let me just say - Sam gave the best advice every. single. time!!! Sam and his team took incredible care of us and we can’t thank them enough for guiding us through our first home buying experience. Can’t wait to do it again some day. :)

I cannot say enough great things about working with Sam. He is simply the best. From the level of professionalism to just being one of the nicest and most responsive individuals who I have ever worked with. As a first-time buyer, I was clueless as to how to proceed. Sam took his time and gave me a quick real estate 101 training. He explained the process to me so I would know what to expect from the very beginning and every step of the way. He was incredibly informative, helpful, and immediately took action to help me find the PERFECT home for my family.
Unlike other realtors that I’ve worked with, Sam truly cares about his clients. He is very patient and actually listened to our needs/wants. Never once did I felt rushed or pushed. I met Sam a few years ago while shopping for a VA. home while living in NC.  Since I lived in NC., traveling weekly was logistically impossible and not feasible.

Every lead that I inquired about with Sam the property had been identified by him before we even spoke. It was like he took my vision and made it tangible

Sam scheduled viewings virtually and took custom videos of the location for me to send me in NC. Sam seemed to be a few steps ahead of me at all times. (All this before Covid 19 when virtual showings were not a thing)

Honesty and dedication are what I value most in anyone, and Sam’s character is impeccable. I was informed of every option via email. His enthusiasm and smile brightened our zoom and face time interaction during our weekly meetings.

SAM IS AMAZING! This is our second time working with Sam. First time was 3 years ago when we purchased our first home (condo) and almost exactly 3 years later, he helped us sell that condo and purchase our family home (during a pandemic!!!). I am a very anxious person so I know I'm super difficult to work with but Sam handled it like a pro! Everytime I started to have one of my moments, Sam made the time to work out the issues with me, no matter what time it was! There are seriously so many great things I can say about Sam! As a first-time home buyer, I had no idea how the buying process worked nor really anything about the real estate market. On day one, Sam walked us through an hour long zoom presentation that laid out the fundamentals from start to finish. He is very personable and assuring, so it made us feel comfortable from the start.

When it came to searching, Sam always had our best interests at hand. He was determined to find the perfect home for “us". We needed a home quick (within 6 weeks) and had specific requirements and deal breakers. Sam was confident he would find us the right home and took on the challenge. He sent us multiple homes a day and was always available to show us any home we liked even if it was the same day or a weekend. The market was very competitive, and houses were going under contract within a day listed. Thankfully, we found the perfect home within our deadline all thanks to his quick responsiveness and open availability.

He gave us an excellent referral to Intercoastal Mortgage. We were not only able to close in 17 days (in the middle of a pandemic) but we gained instant equity on our home following the bank’s appraisal! He also has great connections to contractors. We have already added upgrades thanks to his recommendations and referrals.

Because Sam genuinely enjoys what he does it truly made our first-time home buying process enjoyable and fun! I will be using him for all future homes and highly recommend him to those looking for a forever home or investment property.

If you are a looking to purchase a home for the very first time. Sam is your agent! Sam always had our best interest at hand He was there every step of the way and made himself available 24/7 for any and every question we had regarding the process. Sam is one of the best in his field. I started working with Sam after getting his advice on another transaction based on his working with others of my friends. There was no promise or expectation we’d work together, but he took the time and helped me out regardless. Sam was such a pleasure to work with. I remember more than a year ago, when I was interested in learning what I needed to do to buy. With no intention to buying anytime soon, I still reached out to Sam (found him through my college roommate who bought a house with him). Sam was so nice; he reached back out to me to meet up with him at a Starbucks. We sat there for an hour while he explained what I needed to do to start my journey, types of different loans and how to save. Sam was a rockstar! In less than five weeks, he found our family of five our dream home! He is professional, extremely quick to get things done, and was a joy to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure that we closed on time. His assistant, Mia, was equally competent and very sweet! The DMV housing market is incredibly competitive. You need someone like Sam to get what you want before it's gone!

Sam was referred to us by close friends that recently purchased their first home. Being first time home buyers, we had all the ideas of what we wanted and at the same time we knew nothing at all. Sam showed us all the options we had asked for within our budget. He was extremely responsive with any and all questions we had through the process. When we viewed our townhouse, we knew right away we had to have it and Sam negotiated a deal of a lifetime. I strongly believe that we wouldn’t have gotten our home with any other agent. His credibility alone sealed the deal!

His seasoned relationships across the real estate market significantly aid in the process of contract acceptance. For example, the second home I purchased, because of his reputation and the offer Sam had crafted, the buyer selected our offer over other offers that were higher in price! How does that happen?! Sam Eligwe. Might I add, Sam is still the person I call for random things like leaks, etc. because of his vast network consisting of all things related to maintenance of your home after closing!
