I've had too many transactions where I wasn't kept informed, wasn't given search capabilities, and did not feel the agent really understood what I needed. I have a broad education and background:
-- BA in Sociology from University of Hawaii;
-- MBA from UCLA, with emphasis in Marketing and Information Technology;
-- Former Miss Alaska, 1980;
-- Helped retirees keep from outliving their money for 17 years in Alaska, as an Independent Insurance Agent specializing in retirement planning;
-- Former Army Officer's wife - I understand the needs of the military;
-- Horse lover and owner for over 20 years and one of my favorite pastimes is to search out horse properties in Hampton Roads;
-- House-rehabber & flipper; (I love to search out distressed properties);
-- Rental real estate investor
-- Beach lover
But my passion has always been Real Estate -- it's been my favorite topic of conversation for most of my life. I started investing at age 21, and currently own a Kenai, Alaska 40-space mobile home park with 21 rental homes, among other properties.
