Sanford Mahr relocated to Tampa Bay, after selling his company started in 1979, Mahr Realty and Development Company, operating throughout Western and Central New York in 1984. He initially affiliated with Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate, a division of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, for a brief tenure, after which he joined The Galbreath Company, and rose to become its Senior Vice President, based in Tampa Bay serving southeast markets. Since 1991 TMC-The Mahr Company became his main focus.
