About Sarah
Sarah has been a full-time real estate broker since 2004. After working for several years as an engineer at a technology company and in technical sales for an enterprise software company, I decided to follow my passion and become a real estate agent. She has always loved looking at houses, and that is what initially piqued her interest in real estate. Going through the process of searching for and buying her first house made her realize that this is what she wanted to help other people do.
With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in industrial engineering, Sarah always had a love of numbers and statistics. been able to utilize this skill set in real estate in analyzing and watching for trends in our local real estate market. She loves tracking what’s happening to prices, market time, and inventory levels in West Seattle and other Seattle neighborhoods. By being knowledgeable about what’s happening in our local market, Sarah better able to help her clients with buying and selling their homes.
Sarah also loves the creative side of real estate – where she gets to design marketing pieces for her listings and help sellers de-clutter and stage their homes to get them ready to put on the market. Sarah thinks it is critical to make your home look great in person and in photographs, and she has an eye for making simple changes that have a big impact on how your home is presented. She believes it is important to have high quality marketing materials to make your home stand-out from the many other listings on the market.
She moved to the Puget Sound area in 1997 and she has lived in West Seattle since 1999. Sarah lives close to Lincoln Park with her husband and 2 sons. She is originally from Des Moines, IA and she lived there until she went to college at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. After growing up and going to college in the Midwest, she loves the small-town feel of West Seattle and the bigcity feel of the greater Seattle area. She thinks we get to enjoy the best of both worlds by living in West Seattle.
