As a licensed 'Associate Broker', I have been serving the needs of clients and customers in the Oceana, Newaygo, Muskegon, Kent, Lake and Ottawa County areas since 1990. Additionally, as a licensed 'State Certified Residential Appraiser' and designated Certified Valuation Consultant, I assist my seller clients by helping them correctly price their property for the listing market. The appraisal license and knowledge of the local market also helps my home buyer clients make an informed offer to purchase. I am a member of, and follow the strict code of ethics of the National and Michigan Realtor associations, the West Central Association of Realtors, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, and the National and Michigan Association of Real Estate Appraisers. My successful transactions have included residential properties, income & investment properties, HUD homes, short sale & foreclosure properties, commercial properties, vacant land, hunting parcels, Lake Michigan properties, and other waterfront & recreational properties. I assist buyers and sellers through the entire process- From the pricing, marketing, negotiations, contracts & paperwork, financing, title search, appraisal, inspections, escrows, and through the closing. I am a Past President and former Director of the West Central Association of Realtors, and a former member of the Michigan Association of Realtors Public Policy Committee, and have earned Coldwell Banker's International Sterling, Silver, and Diamond Society awards. In my spare time, I enjoy researching local history, traveling, and spending time with family & friends. I consistently attend real estate and appraisal classes & seminars to keep myself informed about updates, changes, and new ideas in our business, to better serve my clients and customers. I have obtained many certifications and designations, including e-PRO, SHS, SFR, AHWD, RSPS, CREA, and CVC. I've also taken many college and extension classes from Muskegon Community College and Northern Michigan University. As a licensed 'State Certified Residential Appraiser', I offer real estate appraisal services to banks & mortgage lenders, attorneys, and private individuals through my company Kroepel & Associates, Inc.
