Bloomgarden’s undergraduate degree is from Hobart College and post graduate studies were at Columbia University and Harvard Business School.
He is board member and the former Chairman of Surfrider Foundation Miami, one of the largest and most impactful environmental nonprofit organizations in Miami-Dade County. Its mission is to protect and preserve our beautiful coastal areas. His service with Surfrider has been lauded and recognized by the Mayor & City of Miami Beach, as well as several City of Miami and Miami-Dade County Commissioners.
