As a first time home buyers everything seems confusing. Well it did for us, anyway. Our real estate agent pressured us to put and enlarged offer on a place we only kind of liked (which already had multiple offers on it). We knew then, she wasn't right for us. So we let her go. Now, finding ourselves with more questions than answers and no real estate agent to turn to, things got pretty scary. Then, we were referred to Shalimar. She sat us down and got to know us. What we liked, what we didn't, what we wanted and what we needed. She taught us everything we needed to know. Step by step all the way through the process, she kept kept us educated on what was going on. It was a great experience. Shalimar was open, honest and hard working. She always made herself available even late at night (that's when we bought our house). Shalimar is smart and fierce. She shut down an open house, avoided a bidding war, and saved us thousands of dollars all on the same day. We trust her so much, we gave her number to a friend whom she also found a house for. Where do I begin with Shalimar? First impression, she is a kind and patient professional whom really listens to her buyer's needs. Shalimar went ABOVE and BEYOND on our recent deal with her. Want to take a moment and let everyone know we were very happy with our realtor, Shalimar. Shalimar did a great job during an extended escrow due to numerous FHA loan and HOA complications. She was very communicative to us and always looked after our interest. After we went 60 days past scheduled closing, she negotiated additional compensation for our holding cost from the buyers. Selling or buying can be a long process that requires years of expertise on the part of the realtor representing you. Having someone on your side to look after all of the details and take care of all of the problems will give you peace of mind. We were always confident that in the end, Shalimar would close the deal allowing us to move on.

We are SO thankful we worked with Shalimar for the sale of our home! She kept us updated every step of the way (which was made tricky by the fact that we moved out of state during the process and were three time zones apart) and explained every document that was sent our way. I also think it's important to mention that Shalimar is the fourth real estate agent we've worked with, and she is only the second that I have felt was TRULY on our side. We've worked with other agents who were clearly just trying to move the process along, and often, at our expense (read: loss).
