Shanna is the whole package and if you’re looking to sell a house you can stop reading through reviews now because you’ve found the best agent to call.

This summer I called Shanna about listing my home and from start to finish everything was perfect. She is creative, detail oriented, and experienced - exactly the type of person you want overseeing a huge transaction with financial impact.

(1) We did a walkthrough where Shanna helped us prioritize what improvements would enhance our listing. She also connected us to awesome contractors saving me so much time vetting folks.
(2) Shanna staged our house using a combination of our own decor (and hers!) to help us save money and time. The house looked so good I didn’t want to sell it anymore. She has incredible interior designer taste and to be honest I’ve redecorated my new house using similar layouts after seeing how she styled things.
(3) Shanna met the photographers at the house and carefully reviewed the listing details to ensure everything was perfect. She gave us an opportunity to review everything before blurbs and pictures went live on all the usual places. It was amazing to feel like we were involved and yet didn’t have to do anything because what Shanna prepared never needed improving.
(4) Shanna was an absolute professional when it came to listing, contract negotiations, and closing. We sold in a post pandemic market and it was important to have an agent who could operate in a climate where sellers and buyers are on even footing. I was confident Shanna knew what we were firm vs flexible about and so I never felt like we had to give something up. She also went above and beyond to make sure we chose the best offer for the success of the deal, including calling financial reps and other experts. She really has a phenomenal network around her, and the Compass agency has a ton of resources for sellers like interest free loans that can be used to cover expenses like painting and paid back at closing.

To color this in further, I have purchased and sold houses before this and used different agents each time. I assumed every agent had some drawback and that real estate was just an industry where you had to accept being disappointed in some way. Shanna proved that’s not the case, and while I’m sad to find her late in the game for myself I’m so glad to have her as an agent going forward.

Shanna is a truly exceptional realtor. I've wanted to buy a home for as long as I can remember, but it's also something that has always intimidated and overwhelmed me. I needed a realtor who understood that and could walk me through the process with patience and reassurance. Shanna did that and more. On top of explaining everything to me (in many cases, multiple times), she understood intuitively what I was looking for in my future home. She was attentive and responsive, and made me feel like I was her only client. I really felt "seen" by Shanna throughout the entire process and I'm so grateful I had her by my side.

A year before we decided to sell our long time home in Baltimore city, we knew we wanted a realtor who really knew our neighborhood and also had a great sense of the market. We are so happy that we followed a couple of other great reviews on the Nextdoor App and reached out to Shanna Moinizand. We were well-guided through the entire process. Months before we were ready to put the house on the market, Shanna walked us through and told us what we needed to do to get our house ready. She was always responsive to our concerns and questions and has great resources at her fingertips - for example the photographer she used for our house photos was absolutely wonderful! Shanna helped us price the house appropriately as well as navigate the multiple offers we ultimately received. Our settlement was flawless. It was super reassuring to have Shanna at the helm of our house sale.

Shanna was truly wonderful to work with! She walked us through the entire home buying process beginning to end. When we were looking at houses she was very generous with her time, well prepared, knowledgeable, always punctual and very personable. When we found a house we loved, she carefully walked us through the steps to put in our best offer. When we had some unexpected hiccups jumping through the financing hoops, she expertly advised us and helped calm our nerves. She arranged the inspections and all follow ups. She even came to our closing just to make sure everything went well. She took so much of the hassle of buying a house off our plates and made it smooth and enjoyable. I cannot say enough about what an amazing realtor Shanna is. She was always available when we had a question, facilitated every part of the housing process, was even ready with recommendations for all the professionals we need for the wonderful house she helped us find! If I was starting to feel stressed out about some part of the process, I would usually look at my phone and find she had already sent an email showing she was already aware and on top of it. Shanna recently helped us buy a new home and sell our previous home. You will not find a better realtor. Shanna is knowledgeable, incredibly responsive, highly personable and has impeccable taste. That alone would be enough, but she has also carefully built relationships with the best and most trustworthy of all the other vendors you may need to deal with when buying and selling a home. Because we worked with people Shanna recommended, the mortgage brokers, home inspectors, contractors and title company we dealt with were all excellent as well. Take it from someone whose previous experience buying a home was far less positive - choosing the right realtor impacts your home buying/selling experience more than just about anything other than the house itself. We would choose Shanna again in a heartbeat.
