Shannon and his wife Tracy have called the Denver area home for over twenty-five years and know firsthand all the amazing things Colorado has to offer. As a real estate professional with a background in Accountancy, he brings a unique and valuable set of investment knowledge and financial skills to the table. Shannon knows the importance of home ownership and how critical it is to people’s long-term financial security.
As an award-winning agent, Shannon has over sixteen years of real estate experience. He has also been a recipient of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association’s Diamond Award for six years in a row and credits his wonderful clients for this distinction. He is excited by the investment side of real estate, and his goal is to help you gain wealth for your family through home ownership and residential real estate investment.
When not showing homes, Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking in live music, and traveling. Having attended over a thousand live music shows in his life, Shannon enjoys discovering new acts and sharing his discoveries with others. Born and raised in Texas, Shannon and native Coloradan Tracy have traveled through much of the US and Central America and would love to someday visit Australia and New Zealand.
He is very proud of his family and where they are today. His daughter Kaya is about to graduate from college, and he and Tracy are thinking about their next phase of life full of traveling and exploring. Next summer, he and his family are planning to visit Portugal to celebrate his daughter’s graduation from Gonzaga University. In the future, they would love to have homes in different locations and be able to move around throughout the year.
Personally, Shannon knows that small changes can make a big difference, and Atomic Habits, by James Clear, is one of his favorite books. He loves finding new Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives locations to explore throughout the country, and if he had a theme song it would be “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen. He is inspired by people that, rather than calling attention to themselves, seem to have a sense of inner peace about them. That sounds a lot like Shannon, as his clients often say that he brings a sense of calm to the home buying experience, and assurance every step of the way. His words to live by are: Have faith, things always seem to work out the way they are supposed to.
