After graduating from Colorado State University in 1980 with a degree in Finance and Real Estate, Shannon began his fifteen year career in commercial real estate, focusing specifically on office leasing and sales in Denver, Colorado. In 1995 he formed Shannon Equities, Inc., which specialized in real estate sales and development, completing numerous condominium conversions along with multiple land development projects. After a brief, but successful, career with Dividend Capital Exchange selling a 1031 Real Estate Investment Trust product, Shannon decided to focus entirely on his residential real estate business. Shannon became a Realtor in 2009 and he has enjoyed using his well rounded expertise to assist hundreds of clients to fulfill their dreams. In 2015 and 2016 Shannon lived in Todos Santos, BCS, Mexico working as the Director of Sales and Marketing on a 1,200 Acre project. However, missing the Colorado mountains and lifestyle, Shannon returned to Denver. An avid skier and cyclist, he welcomes the opportunity to get outdoors anytime, occasionally golfing or fishing for a change of pace. He currently lives in Biscayne, Cory Merrill after downsizing from a large house in Bonnie Brae. After raising two children in Denver, they have since flown the coop, with one living in the Golden and the other in Washington, D.C.
