Shannon most recently has held a corporate role for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, Realtors as Director of Business and Community Relations. Connecting businesses, people and services in the Real Estate industry throughout the Upstate. She helped connect the dots with relocation needs, trailing spouse resources, economic development and community partnerships. Shannon has also been a small business owner, non-profit fundraiser, and floral designer. She has over twenty years experience in customer service as well as coordinating and executing a variety of special events in the nonprofit, sports marketing, and political arena, even serving as the South Carolina Director of events for Dr. Ben Carson’s presidential campaign.
Shannon serves her community in numerous ways, she truly has a volunteer’s heart. Currently sitting on the Better Business Bureau and American Cancer Society board of directors, and previously as a Presbyterian College Parents Council member and as a committee member with the Antonakos Foundation. She also co-founded the charity golf tournament within C. Dan Joyner, Realtors, that raises funds for the company charity, Sunshine Kids.
Shannon’s vast network and “can do” attitude have given her the trusted reputation of being the “go to” for knowledgeable solutions and a wide range of expertise that lends seamlessly to the Real Estate industry. Shannon interacts in such a way with people, whether an acquaintance, friend, client or colleague, that they feel heard, solutions are discussed and an intentional plan of action in place and most importantly they are left with a feeling of being taken care of.
While her history may be in Boston, New Orleans and Memphis, Shannon’s roots have been clearly planted in South Carolina since 2009. She lives in Fountain Inn with her husband of 26 years. She and her husband have two grown children who also live in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Shannon has never met a stranger, has a passion for people and that shows through in everything she does.
