Sharon Ligon

Sharon is a unique Realtor. She has worn two very important hats in the home-buying process over her 30 years in the industry. She started out as a Mortgage Broker and then became a realtor as her love of family, community and helping others grew.

Home-buying or selling is said to be one of the 5 most stressful things you can do in life. Sharon appreciates this and offers a perspective few others bring to the table that help ease that stress by advising clients on financing as well as finding the best home, in the right market, for the right price. Sharon likes to get to know you - your concerns, your wish-lists, and your goals, so together you can transition through this life chapter smoothly and comfortably.

Sharon’s love of Richmond and her own community in the West End makes her a wonderful resource for schools, local shopping, fine and casual dining, and family fun. An active 10k runner, tennis player, previous swim coach and instructor, church choir member and community volunteer make her someone her clients can count on for great insights.

Sharon graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance. When she isn’t helping you to sell or buy a home, she spends time with her husband of 35 years, Mike, and visits with her two successful grown daughters, sons-in-law, and three grandsons as often as she can.
