Shawn Bassett

Shawn Bassett, as proprietor and lead agent of Bassett Realty, learned the business from his father Gene, and entered the family business in 2005. Named Twin Cities Super Agent – since 2012 – Shawn is a lifelong Minnesota resident. Among his key attributes are expert negotiation skills formed over years of active grassroots political engagement and professional experience, a thorough understanding of buyer and seller psychology, and a fascination with the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, it’s neighborhoods and history.


The antithesis of a pushy salesman, Shawn prefers to exercise patience and help shepherd clients through the at times stressful and confusing process of buying and selling a home.


Shawn is a lifelong club soccer player and lives with his wife and daughter in Minneapolis. He is knowledgeable about the entire metro area, from Uptown to the National Sports Center in Blaine, from White Bear Lake to Lake of the Isles.
