Ms. Shawnee is the best! I’ve been working with Ms. Shawnee since forever it seems (almost 10 years). Each time she is thoughtful, helpful, and ready to take action on her client’s behalf. I have recommended her to family and friends and they too have enjoyed working with her. I could write a book about Ms. Shawnee, but just know if you don’t have her then you’re missing out!

Shawnee was an outstanding real estate agent! When we started our home buying process, we started as a for sale by owner. We were selling a townhouse. Shawnee came to us representing another buyer. She gave us tips and suggestions on what to do as FSBO. She even suggested that we raise our listing price. She said we were asking too low. After many conversations, we enlisted her to be our agent. That was the best decision! She got us $35,000 over listing for our townhouse. Then she worked with us in the purchase of our new home. She watches the market tirelessly. She even suggested that we take a serious look at a property that eventually became the one for us! Shawnee is an extremely seasoned professional. She was on top of every detail. Even when surprises arose, she was immediately on top of the situation and offering solutions. She was so attentive. She made us feel as if we were her only clients. I know that there were other clients but she made us feel special. The home buying process can be overwhelming and frustrating, especially during this climate. Shawnee was very patient and reassuring. She kept telling us that we will find the home that was meant for us. And we did! She was truly a God-send. Shawnee Fortes comes HIGHLY recommended by us.

Let me begin by saying leaving reviews is not something I normally participate in but under the circumstances it was an absolute must. We get into the habit of expecting individuals to do their jobs and to do them well. But working with Mrs Shawnee Fortes was an experience i will not ever forget. She does her job exceptionally well. She goes over and beyond to assure you are comfortable in making one of the biggest decisions of your life. While going through the home buying process I felt as though I was in the hands of an expert who I knew would not allow me to be ‘mishandled’. I felt I could trust her every word. Any and every time I had questions and/or concerns she was available. Very patient, kind, trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about going through this process with her assistance. I would recommend her to anyone without any hesitation. She made this experience a wonderful one for my family and I and I will always remember her for it. Mrs Shawnee Fortes is the absolute best in this field.

I can’t say enough positive things about my realtor.
Home buying is usually a stressful time, but my process was further complicated because I was working with a very difficult grant.

I have known Shawnee Fortes since January 2017. I am active duty Navy, so my schedule is demanding and sporadic. This realtor remained extremely understanding and patient during every transaction. She helped me QUICKLY sell my first house and was able to find my dream home (new construction) with the EXACT specifications I desired! After residing in my new home for 2+ years, the Navy required my duties elsewhere. No problem! Shawnee, now my good friend, was there to assist me again. She sold the house 4 DAYS after listing on the market! Shawnee is exceptionally professional, caring, and FLAWLESS. She attentively listened to what I wanted and delivered! If you're a first time home buyer like my wife & I then you will need assistance navigating the tumultuous waters of purchasing a home. Shawnee was straight forward and honest with us from the beginning. Her experience at recognizing bidding wars or not so great deals were second to none which is why she is deserving of her recent title of Realtor of the year! As a first time seller I had A LOT of questions. Shawnee was available, very patient, and ensured I understood each step of the selling process. She was honest about what improvements were needed to the property to ensure it showed well. Even when times became difficult as closing dates were changed multiple times, Shawnee was reassuring that we would get to the "finish line". She helped to guide me through difficult decisions by providing her professional expertise and opinion while ultimately letting me decide as the seller. The video view of our home made the house appealing, welcoming and desirable.
