For 32 years, Sheila dedicated her career life to the Military, joining the US Marines at 17 and retiring form the US Navy in January 2017. Sheila has spent time in Southeast Asia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Upon first meeting Sheila, discerning clientele quickly recognize her intelligence, desire to work hard to please, multitasking skills, and passion for America. Her ability to identify and understand her clients’ wants, needs, and goals sets her above the rest. Working in very demanding positions within the government, and dealing with difficult government officials and sensitive situations, Sheila understands what it takes to get the most demanding job done right to fully satisfy her customer! It’s comprehension and understanding enriched by her years of frequent domestic and international relocation, exceptional intuition, and substantial experience with adapting to frequent moves, changing environments, she can fully empathize with military families during constant moves and those just on the move. Whether working with sellers aiming to maximize net proceeds, first-time homebuyers, government moves, new parents searching for their first family home, or retirees establishing roots in the VA/DC or NM area, Sheila uses her local connections and expert negotiation skills to find clients the perfect home purchase or sale at a perfect price. Sheila was raised in Albuquerque New Mexico until the age of 17, when she joined the US Marines. She completed an honorable tour and returned home to finish college at the University of New Mexico, start a family, all while working in the New Mexico Air National Guard. After achieving her degree, Sheila was selected for a direct commission in the US Navy, where she and her daughter Megan set out to see the world and navigating adventures. Sheila spends the majority of her free time supporting disabled veteran charities or foster care for rescued dogs and cats. She has three K-9 fur babies, Khaleesi and Remy and Kit, and fosters rescued dogs and cats when she can.
