Sherman began his real estate career in 2003 with Century 21. After realizing I generated the source of my business relationships, I knew I did not need a big-name brokerage to be successful. That's when I started to look for an alternative. I joined Charles Rutenberg Realty (CRR) in 2004.CRR's philosophy promotes a realtor's independence while giving support within the corporate structure of the company. With the intention of expanding my resources to better service my clients I joined eXp Realty. I am currently a managing broker with eXp Realty. After retiring from the Chicago Police Department in 2008 with 26 years of service I began to practice real estate full time. My associations include, IMBA (Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association), CDPE (Certified Distress Property Expert), ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), ADPR (Accredited Distress Property Representatives) and e-Pro (Proficient in Internet Technology). While concentrating my sales in the Chicago market, I am licensed to buy and sell real estate throughout the entire state of Illinois. My educational background includes a master's degree from The Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago IL and a bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago IL. A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, the National Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors, the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers.
