About Sherri

Year after year, Sherri Howe earns her ranking in the top 1% of San Francisco real estate agents by doing things the right way. This means providing each of her clients with all-inclusive service during and after a transaction, serving as their tireless advocate, advisor, negotiator, and project manager. Her greatest reward is earning her clients’ trust, and their happiness is the only metric of success that truly matters to her.

Sherri’s proven, data-driven approach to real estate is informed by previous careers in the financial and IT sectors. After working as a financial analyst after college, she earned her master’s degree in software systems engineering and performed nearly every tech role available — from programmer to DBA and quality assurance manager to business analyst. Now applying her skills in data and systems analysis to the housing market, Sherri offers her clients lucid explanations of metrics such as fair market value and digs unusually deep in critical evaluations like disclosure reviews. She also has her eyes on the details, considering it her duty to highlight even the small things that could make a big difference down the road.

In addition to her analytical abilities, Sherri brings heart and grit to her work. The rewards she experienced leading building projects around the world as a Habitat for Humanity Global Village team leader were instrumental to her decision to go into real estate. Although she made this transition in 2007, shortly before the Great Recession unfolded, this challenge only catalyzed her to hone her skills quickly. Learning how to hold deals together under less-than-optimal circumstances helped her develop the perseverance that her clients cherish today.

A resident of San Francisco since 1998, Sherri enjoys exploring the city’s parks with her husband and their 11-year-old son. Dedicated to giving back to her community, she has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, GLIDE, the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, and her son’s school. A champion of human and animal rights, Sherri also regularly donates to numerous organizations, including the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, San Francisco SPCA, San Francisco Animal Care & Control, and the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.
