About Sherry
Sherry says she was born to do real estate. “My passion for people and homes paired with entrepreneurship in my blood makes real estate a perfect career for me,” Sherry said. “My mom started this real estate business from the ground up and the foundation of the business has allowed me to partner with her and help our business grow to what it is today.”
Together, Sherry and her mother, Debra Whaley, sold over $46 million in real estate in 2017, outselling several entire real estate offices in the market.
Before going into real estate, Sherry had the honor of being a top sales professional with Sysco for a decade, which helped equip her to be a better realtor. “The ten years of sales experience I had there taught me to be aggressive,” she said. “I fight for my clients to help them get the best deal in the market or get top dollar for their home.”
Sherry says her favorite part of the real estate industry is helping their clients start a new chapter in their lives - whether it be buying a new home or helping them sell their current home. “We work hard for our clients,” she said. “We treat every client and deal like they are family and do for them what we would do for our own family.”
Sherry added that she has a personal interest in flipping properties and buying rentals, and she has completed major renovations on her personal home - all of which have given her a competitive edge in real estate. She said, “These experiences are very valuable as I can share my expertise to people wanting to get into investment properties, whether it be flipping houses or getting involved with the rental side of the market.”
So, what makes Sherry and the Property Squad better than their competition? “We know the market, we know contracts, and we have a great team,” Sherry said. “Most agents are just one person, and they can’t be everywhere for every client. We have a full staff to support us. We spend a lot of money on our marketing to help sell homes, and our pictures and descriptions are second to none!”
