About Sildy
After visiting Miami for a short vacation, Sildy Cervera quit her job at a Washington, D.C.-based think tank to pursue a career in her family’s real estate business.
“With encouragement from my aunt, Alicia Cervera, the founder of Cervera Real Estate in 1969, I made the move,” Cervera says. She was based in the sales office of the iconic Atlantis condominium building, built in the early 1980s. When she became a mom, Cervera moved overseas to Japan and Italy, living abroad for 11 years.
Upon her return, she was involved in the early stages of the South of Fifth developments, starting with the pre-construction of Portofino Tower and Related Cervera projects, including the Yacht Club, Murano, Murano Grande, Icon and Apogee, where she was the sales manager. She also managed iStar Residential’s Ocean House and worked sales at the Aria Development Group’s 321 Ocean property.
During her 25 years in the industry, Cervera has worked with developers, architects, construction companies and designers — relationships that have given her insight into, and a true understanding of, the business. Assisting sellers, buyers and investors from Chicago; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; New York and Europe, Cervera listens and tries to fulfill as many of their wants as possible.
