Spencer Marker

Although Spencer’s father was career Navy, he has spent practically his entire life in Northern Virginia. He is as close to being “born & raised” here as you can get. He was graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Upon graduation, he attended and was graduated from the General Motors Training Center. He then went on to North Carolina State University, Northern Virginia Community College, and George Mason University. He has a degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing & Management. While working his way through college as a plumber, he earned a master’s License in plumbing from the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is a licensed Real Estate broker, not just an agent. He is also a graduate of the Realtors Institute, earning the prestigious GRI designation. This designation is obtained by less than 9% of all Realtors. He has earned his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. This is a national designation of which he is very proud. Less than 1% of all Realtors ever achieve this designation. He has also earned his Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation, his CDPE and e-Pro Designation. He attends on a regular basis numerous classes and seminars to finely hone his real estate skills. He is presently a licensed Associate Broker with Long & Foster’s Top Producing office and he has an active Principal Broker’s License. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®, the Virginia Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, the Residential Sales Council, the Long & Foster Masters Club and the NVAR 50 Million Dollar + Yearly Sales Club. He has spent his entire career with Long & Foster, is a member of their “Hall of Fame” and consistently reaches their “Top 5 Agents” companywide. He is active at our local board and serves currently on the Grievance Committee. He is recognized as one of the Top 10 Agents in the area by the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® and has been every year since 1993. Also, most recently, one of Washingtonian’s Best 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020!
