About Stephanie

Like many, Stephanie Henne feels the most touching thing about a home is family. She has a special talent for connecting with families in a similar stage of life, moving up to their second or third home. More than once have the backseats on the way to a showing been filled with giggling toddlers from her and her clients' families.

In fact, family is how Henne began the trade. Her father was a real estate agent. When she was a young girl, she would walk with him to open house showings in their neighborhood. Decades later, in June 2018, she earned her own real estate license. She enjoys the extra time the flexible career gives her with her cherished family.

Henne has been with Athena for five years and counting. Her first, she was named a Rising Star, and each of the following four years, she earned Top Producer status. Prior to real estate, she worked for about eight years as a medical-surgical and presurgical nurse. She completed nursing school in May 2013 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She later found the reading requirements there prepared her well for studying real estate contracts.

The Kenner native also has a gift for contemporary marketing, making her a great match for Athena's trailblazer ethos. Henne's multiple social media accounts entertain real estate enthusiasts while her website provides informative blog posts on the subject. Her online skills hit the jackpot in April 2023 when HGTV found Henne through TikTok and decided to film her and her clients for a forthcoming Greater New Orleans episode of their hit show "House Hunters."

When not finding fulfillment volunteering for Lakeside Hospice in Metairie -- allowing others to take a break while she sits with patients in their homes -- Henne loves spending time with her husband and daughter in the family-oriented, classic neighborhood of Bucktown.
